Auditioning for Drama School ?

Saturday Morning Workshops with Christopher Garvey and Vasile Nedelcu

From 10.00am until 1.00pm

Our aim is to bring energy and focus to the task of gaining a place in drama school.

Intensive work on two audition pieces:

1 Shakespeare and 1 Modern. Both pieces must be known by heart.

The day will begin with a short introduction followed by a body-voice warm up.

We will work methodically with different aspects of the piece.

 

Its structure in relation to choreography The main energies of the piece explored with body gesture. Researching the character: Finding its centre in the body and expression through the voice The dramatic gestures of the character in relation to the speech The Actor's Guides: The Sense of Ease The Sense of Beauty The Sense of Form The Sense of the Whole

Wear comfortable clothing and bring trainers.
